I built the creature and carried the head in the parade. The beast was painted by Keri Kelley, Elli Pope, and Jessie Dick. Everyone did an awesome job, and I’m sure we won all kinds of awards.

Hmm… It looks like I’m posting from my phone right now. Can I add images? Let’s see… Yeah, it looks like I can. Well,  now what?

Keri and I are members of ArtStart, a Rhinelander-based art group. ArtStart is working to bring an arts and cultural center to Rhinelander (if you don’t know). An event is being planned for the 4th of July, so naturally a parade float will be needed, too. Keri and I are heading up the parade committee. Our parade entry, which isn’t a traditional float, is well underway. I’ll post some pictures soon enough. Trust me, it’s going to be awesome.

I’ve been painting lots of birds lately, and a cluster of them should be popping up in the Fine Art section of this site. Be honest with yourself, you know you want one of my birds. Maybe soon you’ll be able to commission one of your own.

Have fun, friends.
